My hen is starting to feel a little better today.. Thanks again everyone for all the help. She is still a little raddley in her lungs but she seems to be getting a little better. Tonight will be her third dose of tylan and I am hoping she continues to improve. I will keep yall updated...

I posted this to the sick poultry forum but thought I would run by all my friends here on the NC thread and get opinions. I am very worried about a sick hen I have and also I am very worried about my flock now that she is sick. A little history: She, one of my standard brahma hens, went...

I will definately check when I get home.. there is a lot of bedding in the coop so she might be hiding them. I sure do hope she is laying.. she is so sweet and pretty would love to have some of her and billy's chicks!

Thats awesome, I am very happy for you. What would the babies look like of a runner and muscovy? Would they be sterile? This will be my first full year of having a muscovy hen - she laid about 4 eggs when I first got her then it turned cold. Can't wait until she starts laying again.

Mine haven't as far as I know. Your the second person I have heard from in NC that their muscovies are laying. I hope mine start soon!

Beth I actually need that video. I have a beautiful pair of black cochins and my rooster is blind. He has a very hard time doing the deed and I would love to have some offspring from this pair. I can't believe I am saying this but I think I am going to try this.

Good question Lydia. You bring them in live.. I am not sure the method of slaughter.. we will have to find that out.
