Ok...as I mentioned earlier, I live in Stanly County. Do you think my chickens will need a heat lamp for the winter? I didn't use one last year, but maybe they will stay warmer and I will get more eggs if I use a heat lamp at night. You all know it doesn't get too cold in NC but it does get...- oliviad51

The only thing I know is that there is a great poultry auction every first and third Saturday of the month...(I think this Saturday is the third...may want to check though)..anyways its in Richfield (Stanly County)..so it depends on how far you are willing to drive.
