i couldn't resist and i unmolded one of yesterdays bars. i got all 6 sides looking good...before i had 5 out of 6...leaving the top open. i read on here about a lid on molds...so i tried it with plastic. was't sure if it should be air tight or not (nice not knowing the rules so i don't have to...
$975 is way to much, learn the principles and then use the resourses at hand to get the job done. i found a site that used a trivet, a copper pan, a heat resistant glass container and an inverted pan lid that you iced. looks like it is much the same as making shine...the oils (or shine )...
has anyone tried making their own eo? after reading about the honeysuckle...i googled on...found a site that makes jasmine oil and was selling at $6,000 a liter...wow...does that sound right???
let me see...35 baht to the dollar....so 6,000 x 35 = 210,000 baht...a liter.

From what i've read it doesn't seem to be a certain variety, as much as the age of the bamboo stand...it has to be at least 5 yrs old. i have seen certain sites that said they only used a certain type (i'll have to go back thru my notes to find the name). then again i've seen a research doctor...
i read up on honeysuckle and it turns out it is worth a little effort to experiment with...here is the link i found;
http://www.altnature.com/gallery/Japanese_Honeysuckle.htm
so then it really isn't worth the time to do it?
i just had my friend check and he does think my hair is filling in. interesting, never thought about it doing that but it does improve the blood flow.
i just googled honeysuckle, read up about the flowers...as i have a ton of them in bloom right now. from what i read it sent me outside to cut a few blooms and make sure the pic matched to what is outside. i cut a few blooms off and got a milky sap coming from the cut...it smelled good so i gota...
well...i tried a batch today...all i can say is i learned a lot. things went south from the get go. but for me that is a good thing, i need to make the mistakes so i can learn for myself. anyway i blundered thru it and i'm waiting to see the results...i won't go into details yet...you might pee...
Backyard Buddies...herb by the pound??? you're asking an OC guy where to buy herb by the pound??? i got that on speed dial

ametauss...i am going to try that swirly, marblie, thingy too. i was researching activated charcoal made from coconut husks when i stumbled across the bamboo. when i get back to thailand i'm building a kiln that i can control enough to to bring out all that amazing stuff it can do...plus give...
Are you serious??
I mean, really, really serious??
My husband is so self conscience about his.
i had to look for a mirror to check, it does look fuller...i was sort of kidding...but i tell you from my research this really is amazing stuff. i checked the drain and not one hair on it...i'm not...

i'd like to know if any of you has tried using bamboo charcoal in your soaps? that is the reason i started reading up and trying to make soap. bamboo charcoal is amazing in what it can do and as i have a thai family i was researching it when i came across using it in...
hello to everyone,
i've been reading and learning from your site for a few months now, even have tried my hand at making a few batches...don't tell my guy friends. today i got up the nerve to join and be able to ask questions about some of the things i'm reading about...most likely i'm doing...
