The mold that I use calls for 40 ounces of oils but I add an additional 20 ounces for piping and frosting on top. That is for the cake soap. For the cupcakes I believe I use about 26 ounces of oil and that will do 6 cupcakes but keep in mind that I pile it on high and some people make them...- eggorthechicken

Go on youtube and search soap cupcakes or soapmaking and you will find several tutorials. :0) that's what I did. I do the cold process cupcakes but there are bath fizzy cupcake tutorials too. I may try those soon lol.- eggorthechicken

I have tried several different recipes the last few weeks...some all natural and some with lots of color. I'm working on a school fair project for September and I am making bath cupcakes, some cake soap, and some all natural with EO. They are fun to make...I think kids will like it. :0)- eggorthechicken

I use soapcalc.net to create my recipes. It will tell you how much of everything you need. I usually use coconut oil, olive, sustainable palm and avocado oils in mine but I will throw in some others on occasion. Wow that is great! I wish I could be a farmer...but oh well...lol. I can at least support my habits a little by selling here and there. I like my job most days so I cant complain....other than sleep issues cause I work at night.- eggorthechicken

Hey! I'm just starting back up making soap. I have 2 batches curing and they are smelling yummy. I had a 3rd batch but botched the batch and pitched it...my kids said it looked like oatmeal and was ugly...lol.. I can always count on them to tell me the truth.
