That's an anti-biotic. The chick isn't sick, it has a balance problem, but I don't believe it's from being ill with an infection at this point. I wouldn't give it to it. No need.
This is what I do. I use the bleach mix. Spray the bottom real good, let it soak only for about a few mins. Then I run hot hot water to rinse, then I run cold cold water to rinse. I get out all of the water that I can..put the lid on, and turn that heat up! I get it up around 106..run it...

After the peck on the head? She was fine before? That could be your answer. She is pecking at the ground, does she eat? Drink? She may not be able to roost..or, who knows, she may. Even if she can't, you can make sure there is a nest box for her. She just may need a name to go along with...

This little baby looks like it is doing fine. Like someone said, they all feather out different. Look at all those pin feathers coming in. You won't be able to tell there was ever baby feathers there some day. :)
That little puffy is really going to be puffy someday! Cute. I love me some puffy cheeked hens. I find at times, a lot of the puff goes away for a while, then it comes in really full. Strange, but true.

These brooders are very nice looking..great job! I just a tub for a while indoors, then out they go when they are a week or two old..according to how the weather is out there. I have a small nursery hutch for them. They love it when they can see around them..the bin is not see through.
