the chicks are OLD now! still in the brooder....but im worried about how ill put them into their new flocks. my OEGB are super small and not even a quarter of the size of my other guys. i dont that them getting hurt...thoughts?- bantambury

I hatched sizzles and smooth and silked EE crosses. The sizzles are 25% japanese bantam. I like it because it introduces more colors and larger tails, which avoids silked feathering. This was my sizzle i decided to keep from this hatch.- bantambury

i sold 8 of my HAL chicks saturday. i want to say i have 5 left now...i lost 3 within a few weeks of having them. i plan on starting my hens and selling them and keep 2 roos to watch grow. now i cant wait to hath again! LOL- bantambury

Not really...but coop pic! Her egg was so big she laid it with a little crack. It was about two times the size of her normal eggs! I still havent opened it yet...how exciting?!- bantambury

So my cross EEs are silked! There is no silked in the bloodline that i know of...their mom is a cross but shows no silkie....and it was brother to sister breeding so i know most of their history except for what their grandmother was. ANYWAY. I think i ended up with mostly roos- bantambury

im thinking all 6 EE cross eggs i hatched i got roos. i got 2 roos from a Japanese cross and i think all sizzle roos....do i really have only one hen? not exaggerating. i think i have all roosters. any ideas on how i can sell these guys? i was going to start some but what do i do with others?- bantambury

I use a heat plate. I put oitment on his bum and its looking better. I think its just swollen. Heres a pic before the oitment. He seemed alot better today with no poo- bantambury
