Final count is 0 for 14. It was my first time, but I've learned a lot. Have duck eggs in now with about 10 days to go. Set 12 & down to 6. Hopefully they will all make it. They all look great. Lots of movement & good veining. :)- emmyeagle

Out of 14, I only have 2 left & they are iffy. On the other hand, set duck eggs 2 weeks ago & out of 12... 9 are doing very well. Lots of growth & movement. :) Think I got some kinks out of my diy bator.- emmyeagle

Aw man! Candle last night & all my eggs don't look good. Had a temperature spike of 115 whIle we were gone On Friday. Haven't candled them beforehand so don't know if any were growing. However, Have 12 duck eggs I put in there on Thursday on the bottom & 9 are looking good. Boo on temp spikes!!- emmyeagle

Well... put a dozen duck eggs in the incubator today. Here's hoping for the best. Poor duck must've been drowned by her boyfriend.- emmyeagle

So sad. My duck died today. Found her in the pond. She was fine 4 hours ago. She had 12 eggs in her nest. Hasn't started brooding them. I only have 1 incubator. Can I put them in it even though they'll be a week behind the other duck eggs?- emmyeagle

Ok... my final total is: 4 swedish mix ducks & 10 barnyard mix chickens. Mixed roo over EE'S, BR & a mixed hen. At least I think it's that roo. I have 2 banty roos but I don't think they've mated with any of the hens.- emmyeagle

4 duck eggs & 12 barnyard chickens in my aquarium bator. Plus may have 8 under my duck. Not sure if she will sit on thwm yet. Hopefully she will. Duck eggs in incubator are looking good so far!- emmyeagle
