I have an actual janoel 48 with the gray base, and it does okay as long as the room in 70 degrees or more and the windows are shut. The shells are quite thin, especially on the knock-offs, so maintaining temps on those is probably a little harder. Some people keep them in the styrofoam bases...
Does the incubator temp display always read so high? Did you candle the eggs to see if they're alive? Might be a good idea to get another thermometer just in case.
