That sounds reasonable. I think I would be interested in one or two if we could arrange to meet somewhere. Do you plan to be traveling any time?
Hey, Ed! What are you asking for your pheasants and do they mingle okay with other poultry? I know that many pheasants do, but not familiar with these.

Try Frank Michaelis at Trafalgar. I don't know that he has extra hens--we always hatch out more males, but he has quite a few birds. Might also consult the UPA website, peafowl.org. There are classified ads there as well as lists of breeders.
I had a great time at the Knox swap--reconnected with Carole, met 2DogsFarm, and chatted with lots of other interesting people.
Didn't unload as many chicks as I would have liked, but it's a fine way to spend a morning. A long drive for me, so I only go about once a year. Guess I'll try again...
What colors are your silkies? And is there anything in particular that you're looking for? I have some standard cochins, two australorp pullets, and two golden comet pullets--all about 10 weeks old. I over buy chicks in case some don't make it, and they all did.

I'm planning on being there--have an overload of chicks and hope to part with a few (or several!). Got carried away setting up the incubator this spring.
Darn! I have another commitment on the 6th. Maybe we can arrange another get together after another swap along the way. Too bad there isn't more happening in central and southern Indiana. You "northerners" seem to be more active than we are!
I would certainly try to come. Been experimenting with a "new" incubator and have a bunch of "designer" chicks along with a couple of purebreds.
Might want to avoid Mother's Day weekend. I think that the big swap in Milton KY is then, and a lot of Hoosiers go to that one.
Hello, all
I have 12 2008 hatch guineas for sale--9 pearl and 3 white. They started visiting a neighbor, so I had to shut them in and don't like doing that.
I also have 3 or 4 EE cockerels that I would give away. Set eggs last summer and of course got mostly guys. Also have a...
