    I would imagine that is an Easter Egger. Hatcheries commonly sell them as Ameraucana/Aracaunas but that is incorrect. She could lay a blue, green, or brown egg.

    I find it interesting that the pictured roo's comb has seemed to have been modified by the Silkie breed's walnut type Now that isn't the rooster from the original pair right? That is one of their sons? I seem to recall a pic showing the combs of the two originals and that roo's was much nicer...

    The adults really are nice looking. I have been waiting to see new pics of them. Congrats on the pretty birds. Now you just need to get your hands on some smooth-feathered Black and Blue Ameraucana to breed with them...

    They look awesome. I would agree in saying they are "pure" Ameraucana as well. Most Silkie traits are dominant: black skin, five toes, crest/vaulted skull, feathering on the legs, and comb type. These birds even have the correct colored legs unless I'm mistaken. And the combs are very neat...
