    I wouldn't reccomend the method for any eggs that are viable. Float testing will wash the protective 'bloom' off the egg shell. That will allow moisture to enter the egg, along with bacteria as well. It is also a very unreliable method.

    A temperature of 104°F is sufficient to kill an embryo, if it was at that temp for 2 hours. It takes awhile for the internal temp of the egg to reach the air temp of the incubator. Six hours at 106.9°F has most definitely killed all the embryos in any of the fertile eggs. Sorry that this has...
