We do them all (which takes a while being that we have 45 chickens!) and we usually do them at night so they are easy to grab and more relaxed. You can just do the ones with signs but it's best to do them all. Just remember to use a new Q-tip for each bird.

In my opinion, VetRX does help. Take a q-tip and gently apply it over the nostrils, face, and under their wings.
