Have you switched them to an appropriate food yet? I understand he is smaller than his hatch mates even though they eat the same food. Each bird is still unique and he may have more of a need than the others.

As a duckling he needs a starter feed like flock raiser or duckling feed. No scratch is needed at all. Scratch is on average only 9% protein which is far to low to give even adults except as an occasional treat. Layer feed is formulated for female chickens that are actively laying. It has to...
