Thank you. I had a headache for several days, but not bad. I am now a tremendous fan of surgical staples. :)

DH just tried to photograph the week-old, healing wound and found that it's so well healed already that he can barely find it. I can barely feel it and there's only very slight pain when I push on it.

I'm happy to report that I was able to comfortably wear my sunhat and ear protectors while mowing.

They have a special tool to remove them. One pinched a little, the rest I barely felt. As far as I'm concerned, surgical staples are a great invention.

My staples are out. I'm supposed to be careful for a few more days because the wound could pop open and bleed, but it's a relief to have them gone.

I am indeed at home. Many places hurt and I found bruises in spots I didn't think I'd hurt. Nothing serious, but it's advisable to rest instead of spend 8 hours on my feet.

Actually, DH thinks I shouldn't go to work tomorrow. I am stiffening up now that I've rested a bit, so maybe, maybe not.
