Very urgent! Intestine or umbilical cord?

For anyone wondering about Deloise, this is her and her sisters now! They’ve all gotten so pretty and are pretty much all feathered. Deloise is perfectly healthy (except for missing some feathers under her wings—I’m not sure why she doesn’t have feathers yet, they are growing in slowly though)...

Very urgent! Intestine or umbilical cord?

Little update :) She’s doing better each day! Actually pretty normal, though still smaller than the others. She is getting some wing feathers! Her sisters are getting lots of feathers too. She has social skills now  she coexists very well with Sidra and Chaska and doesn’t peck them anymore...

Very urgent! Intestine or umbilical cord?

I had a shrink wrapped chick, pretty much same story as yours. Her name is Jaelyn now, and she’s a very happy girl. Needed some help at first and was a bit weaker, but is very strong now.

Very urgent! Intestine or umbilical cord?

That makes sense! She’s doing great today but has bad social skills. She pecks Chaska and Sidra a lot and so I separated them, but they can still see and hear each other. Sidra does not stand to be pecked, she’ll turn around and peck right back, but Chaska is a little more meek and doesn’t do...

Very urgent! Intestine or umbilical cord?

Her name is now Deloise and I bought her and two other chicks from the original owners (Sidra is yellow...

Very urgent! Intestine or umbilical cord?

The owners have made the decision to put her down. She is shaking in an abnormal way and her neck is now swollen also. If sticky chick syndrome was the only issue I’d definitely say that she’d be fine and I’d take care of her for a few days, but I feel like this is just a bit too much. I feel...

Very urgent! Intestine or umbilical cord?

She is dry, but she’s a sticky chick so she has a dried substance on her and that’s why she looks wet.

Very urgent! Intestine or umbilical cord?

This is for a friend of mine. She and her mom hatch chicks and they had this one hatch. The daughter texted me asking what to do because she thought the chick was shrink wrapped. I told her what to do for that, but she was very nervous and asked if she could bring it over for me to take care of...
