I usually chase in with helpers... yeah, only one person would probably be impossible. Maybe try to feed all treats inside the coop, or do something to help the coop be cooler. :idunno But usually they do have to be trained to the coop.

I force them in every night for the first week, and lock them in until morning..... or yes, lock them in for a few days with food and water (if you have enough space in there, and Temps are good).

I would be tempted to make the wall up against the run solid wire... it gets hot where you live. ;)

and where abouts are you located? (Just generally, so people know what kind of climate you are dealing with). Looks like Texas to me.
