    Even when an egg isn't incubating, the air cell slowly grows as the egg ages. Hot temperatures, a thin, porous egg shell and some other factors can cause the air cell to grow faster than normal. Hopefully the duckling will hatch successfully, even though it will be smaller than its siblings...

    I don't think there is anything you can do other than let it keep developing and hope for the best. Did you happen to candle the egg Before Newt began incubating it?
