Here is my silkie x bantam EE. Dad was the bantam Easter egger and mom was a black silkie. I just love her she is so tiny and lays green eggs. Right now she is hatching some silkie eggs for me.
Here are my black silkie hen and my columbian color bantam Easter egger Roos new chicks. These were my surprise chicks. I didn't know my silkie was hatching them. Anyone have any like this? Im wondering what they will be like when there're older.
So what if you have a black silkie hen with a light skin roo will this make sex linked chicks? I have a bunch of mixed eggs hatching from my flock in a few weeks. I have three Roos, a black silkie, Tolbunt polish and a bantam Easter egger. The hens are black silkie, and dorking. I'm going to...
Here is one of my polish silkie crosses. Im thinking shes a female. She well be 8 weeks old on Thursday. What do you guys think? In the second pic she is the one with the head puff. The other is her hatch mate. I think he might be a boy.
Well one chick has pretty good leg feathering one of his toes is light color. He also doesnt have a head puff. He also has a a little white on each wing tip. The other one has only a little leg feathering and a small head puff.
So I hatched out some chicks that i was thinking would be GL polish (roo) and black silkie(hen) crosses. Well these chicks look completely like black silkies. Does that normally happen? Will they change as they age? they are only one day old. I will post there pics tomorrow.
