Those are not segments. Is it just me or do those look like something besides tapeworm? Not that it matters as I would suspect Valbazen would cure the problem anyway. Bad drugs, not shaking the Valbazen up? You would be shocked at the number of people that don't realize it settles in the bottle!
It is a matter of numbers. If I only had maybe 20 birds or less and fed every day it would be fine.
We will worm and treat every bird less than one year old for coccidiosis in the next couple of weeks. I would have to catch about 200 birds to orally treat every one of them. Not practical...
Yes you did! And i'll tell you why I remember an otherwise innocent post in a long past thread. Truthfully I kind of hated to see that, not that I thought the intent of your post was incorrect or wrong by any means but because your posts on this subject are highly respected. I believe there...
I think I remember you poo pooing Valbazen but you should reconsider that position too. One time orally when you put them down. Every oral worming we do is with Valbazen for that reason.

Like because they would have to catch and treat well over 100 of them? The Safeguard in the liter size is actually a deal compared to the 125 ml prices. When you start buying layer pellets by the ton, cat food in 200 lb increments and shredded greens by the 10 bag box whats $120.00 for...
We give Safeguard at higher doses than normally quoted for use in water for three days and find it to be effective in worming with no harmful effects and NO loss of fertility in our tests. I would guess we would have seen feather issues if they existed. Of course most all worming effectiveness...
Never had a problem with Safeguard and molting or train growth. I would think it would have shown up by now in our peafowl population if there was a significant effect.
