Update on the baby bun! He or she is doing fantastic! It is very jumpy but I think that’s because it doesn’t have litter mates that wiggle around in the nest so he he needs a lot more handling time then my other babies.
So my rabbit hutches are in my chicken pen. I’ll show pictures in a minute. So as of now no issues. And my chicken wire is nailed into some of my hutches to keep the wire up.
This I believe is a my last few bunnies to introduce, Misty who is 13 weeks old and her two siblings who should be going to their forever homes soon. I call them thing one and thing two. And then my newest baby who I need a good name for. Got any ideas??
That’s horrible! I can’t believe that people just ditch their bunnies!! It makes me so sad. Someone had ditched a bunny awhile ago and my neighbor caught it and put it in my one hutch but he was super aggressive I had to get rid of him.
Luna I got for free her owner was tired of feeding her and she is huge! And very fat!! I’m unsure of her breed so if you have any opinions let me know! Lops I’m not to familiar with.
Midnight is one from a litter I raised and it is my sisters favorite. He is the cuddliest bunny and likes to be held constantly. He curls on my sisters lap like a cat.
So my next ones to introduce are my lion heads!I have two does but I haven’t breed them yet I’m waiting until Spring. But the smaller one is Nala and the bigger one is Sarafina. Then I have a buck name Aslan he is such a sweet heart! The top of his hutch blew open the one day and he hopped out...
Your kits are so adorable! Well all of them are adorable! My two litters didn’t go very well this winter but I have one baby who has survived and I need to name him but can’t find the right one! If you guys have any ideas let me know!
Bandit and Sunny are hutch mates. They love each other and don’t like being with out the other. Bandit has one blue eye and one brown. And Sunny is super friendly.
This is Olaf he is a blue eyed white lop, he was pushed out of the nest and so the lady who bred him hand raised him. So he is super lovey dovy. And not quite a year old.
This is Mr.Roo he is a Rex and he is so funny looking I thought he was a kangaroo when I first saw a picture of them. He is very old and loves food!! Everytime I walk by his cage he thinks it’s time to eat.
:loveUncle Richie is my next bun. He is out of my first litter and the product of Seaweed and Ivy. He is super energetic and drives me bonkers! He likes to nibble on me but I kept him because he was the family favorite. The last picture is of him and his litter
Maple Sugar is my sweetest doe possible, she likes to give lots of bunny kisses and is super nosy!!! She tries to go in my hoodie pockets and look for treats. She also has sweet babies!
