You probably won’t have to unless you want to. Once my ducks were big enough to not need locked up, they preferred to sleep outside

Personally, once they have most of their full feathers, I let them be outside but lock them in their coop or kennel for the night so their body heat stays in and keeps them somewhat warm. Other people might recommend letti by them out on nice days but bringing them back in at night or something...

I’ve noticed that the boys aren’t ever really “aggressive”, they just get really into it if they see one of the girls in the water, especially if it’s poor Lemony, whose too slow to get away from both

I think I’ve had Lemony, Megamind, and Quackers for about 1 or 2-ish years now. And I’ve had Netflix and Roku since sometime last summer (they had had two other brothers, but I gave them away bc I didn’t want to deal with 4 drakes and 3 ducks)

These are Roku, Netflix, Quackers, Megamind (Khaki Campbells) and Lemony( Pekin). Some of these are pics from when roku and Netflix were still pretty young back in the fall/summer. Sorry they’re not in name order lol
