    I shut off the 100 Watt ceramic heater and just left the 40W appliance bulb on. Temperatures more stable. :)

    I do not recommend this thermostat. Not controlling the temperature well, too much fluctuation even when i insulate the window. Hoping my eggs hatch anyway.

    I don't do video of anything because you have to load it on another site and transfer to BYC. Too much for a busy grandma who is not into technology. Thanks for your interest. I can take more pictures if you like.

    The glass was $5. Thermostat was $19. Fan was $17. Light socket $8. Heat emitter, $10. Storage bin $10. So around $70. Some stuff i used i already had, like the foam insulation and hardware cloth i used, wood scraps and caulk. I could have used cheaper components, but i would rather have parts...

    I made another tray tonight, fits tighter. I think two trays is going to be the maximum for that space. Started working on the turner. Got an appliance bulb in the bator now. Can see in there much better. I will just wire it on.

    I don't have a bulb at all i have a ceramic heat source. But i am planning to add a small bulb like an appliance light bulb or something so its easier to watch the hatch. Thanks for the suggestion!
