Building an Incubator

I suggest adding second heating bulb.In my experience incubator bulbs go bad at worst times. If you have 2 bulbs you don't have worry about bulb going out on day 17 when nobody is home to notice. With 2 bulbs incubator gets to temp twice as fast and if bulb goes bad you still have other bulb to heat incubator and keep eggs at proper temp. This is especially important if using a fan in incubator. With no heat source fan will cool and kill eggs very quickly.
I don't have a bulb at all i have a ceramic heat source. 20180331_171933.jpg
But i am planning to add a small bulb like an appliance light bulb or something so its easier to watch the hatch.
Thanks for the suggestion!

I made another tray tonight, fits tighter. I think two trays is going to be the maximum for that space. Started working on the turner.
Got an appliance bulb in the bator now. Can see in there much better.

Not bad )
You need to fix the tray. It can slide during turning
I will just wire it on.

Interior of the storage bin. I love all those channels, where water can go.
Note the holes high up on the end. Drilled with 1/4" paddle bit through plastic and styrofoam.

Styrofoam cut, and taped in place with duct tape. I like the foil side of the styrofoam out. I taped over anyplace where bits of styrofoam might come out, don't want that stuff all over the house.
I like it!
