I know they're gross! Those moths lay eggs everywhere and their little catterpillars make cocoons on everything!

Keep the seed in the freezer, or a vaccuum sealed bag. Freezer is easiest. And the moth eggs are already in the seeds at purchase so you aren't so much protecting as keeping them from maturing.:)
