Ok, so when the Araucauna and Ameraucauna was created in the US some were not selectivly bred. They became known as the Easter Egger because of the egg color but arent really a breed of their own. More a mix of the Araucauna and Ameraucauna from years before, bred to other breeds of chickens.

No Cream legbars are not EE's, Amercuans or Auraucans. Cream legbars are a Auto sexing breed that lays blue eggs.
ooh thats so cool! Ya learn something new everyday!
Thats very interesting, I have never heard of the Cream Legbars... They could just be EE's, EE's can have yellow legs although ,ost have slate colored legs.

A specific mutt? Or you just come across a hen that lays colored eggs? so people dont or cant specifically breed these?
Yes you can breed them, it is the roo that passes on the gene if I'm not mistaken. If you breed an EE roo to another breed of hen you should get blue/green egg laying...
As long as the chicken carries the blue/green egg gene it is considered an Easter Egger. If you take an EE roo and breed to a Buff Orp hen the chicks shoud lay blue/green eggs, how is that a breed?
