    I worded that wrong. Momma has week 6/7 day old chicks. The chick in the post is 3 days. Cackle chicks are 4 days. I tried to introduce baby chick to momma last night and she went nuts. So I’m not sure if she will be okay with anymore besides the 3 she hatched out ☹️

    I’m actually running up to Cackle Hatchery today to get it some friends and we’re just going to use a brooder. Do you think it would be smart to take other chicks from momma and put with brooder chicks? They’re 4 days older.

Gave some yolk last night and washed him (because I’m 100% sure it’s a rooster) off because he his feathers were hard and stuck to him.     Chicks seems a little more lively this afternoon. Still not getting up but has open its eyes a few times when I talk to it. Should I keep in homemade incubator or put under heat lamp? Also feathers are still pretty slicked down.

    *sigh* Long story short. Day 26: 4/29 Momma got off this egg and two others 2.5 days ago, All other eggs were hatched 4 days ago.
