I kinda wish egg turners came with a crank so I could still use them if the motor went out.

Yeah I over check my Incubator, if I check hourly I remember to do it, if I check twice a day I forget. So over checking is more to fix my bad memory than anything else. (I am considering getting that 2nd motor already)

The more things that are automated the more things that can break and not be discovered until it's too late... that being said I really like automatic egg turners but one day mine will break and I will probably have taken it for granted and stopped doing my hourly checks (when home and awake)...
