Ok, siding has been painted! Trim partially installed - still need trim around the top and some other places... Insulation and clear roof installed and he is now out doing interior plywood!

Ok, we got the stairs and _most_ of the siding on this weekend. Ran out of siding at the end, we will need to pick up a little more to finish it off. We plan to paint the siding "oak" (greenish brown, I guess) with white trim (trim is not up yet). What is on there right now is just the primer...

Well, the husband has been at home Depot for OVER 2 HOURS. His instructions were to find something like the LP stuff, or HardiPlank, or other prestained stuff we can slap over the plywood. Failing finding that stuff, T-1-11 and lots and lots of primer... It seemed simple enough, but...

Awesome. Thanks folks. Initially DH had mentioned cedar siding, but came home today and announced "Hey, let's just paint the plywood!" due to cedar being expensive and looked tough to install. He perused all the replies here and has announced that he is confident he can now wander into Lowes...

So, should we have put this up instead of plywood? Or on top? I guess we could do either? Here is the current state of affairs... We had planned on putting normal siding on top, but this looked easier and cheaper...
