Mauve isn't even close to chocolate. I posted pictures of both mauve and chocolate above so the OP could be assured theirs was not blue, not mauve, but chocolate.

That is chocolate in my opinion. Here's a photo from a couple days ago of some of mine. Mauve rooster on the left and two chocolate hens. The second one is the mauve rooster about a month ago.
