yes they are easy to clean as long as you have something in there to catch the poop and they don’t really stink as long as you change it out every couple of hours (only let them wear it for a few hours anyways at a time) i have had them leak but i have ducks and they’re poop is VERY watery lol

have you tried a sock diaper? that’s what i used when my ducks were babies and around his size. they are perfect because they are super easy to make and not expensive so you can make him as many as you want

just because your birds may not be friendly doesn’t mean everyone’s aren’t, hers may love cuddles and be completely okay with a diaper
