Two more eggs this morning so I believe laying season is starting. I don't think I'll tell the ducks that the forecast is calling for 9cm snow and freezing rain.

Yahoo - found 2 duck eggs buried in one of the nests this morning. They feel frozen so I might chuck these first two and do better searching from now on. Maybe it was the lecture I gave the ducks about how I could easily replace them with chickens since I am getting 9 eggs a day from them.

My Muscovy ducks are going through all the motions of nest building and flirting but no eggs yet. Good thing I like them as they are free-loaders 6 months of the year.
