Yes, that looks painful. I would wait a bit, and maybe just take her back and forth some to visit so they don’t peck at it, but she remains part of the flock.

It helps us to see pictures of the wound. Look for any cracks in her beak. I would agree that if she is not bleeding and still looking good, that she should go back with her flock. Spend some time throughout the day keeping an eye on them to make sure they are not pecking at her wound.
