    It looks like the pink tissue is growing in. I would still do wound care twice a day. If you have a spoonful of plain Greek yogurt once a day mixed in with some food or some probiotics, that might help if the antibiotics are affecting her gut.

    If you have the human amoxicillin give her 250 mg twice a day. The 10% powder amoxicillin is hard for me to dose as a direct dose, since I don’t know how many milligrams is in a tsp. Maybe @casportpony or someone else would know.

    If you chose one, I would use amoxicillin. It may not be necessary. Dosage is 125-250 mg twice a day given orally. Egg withdrawal is 14 days.

    In summer heat, we sometimes see this as a result of flystrike when there has been an injury or peck wounds. Flystrike is when fly larvae or maggots infest a wound or poopy butt. Please let us know how she gets along.
