@Eggcessive i was able to get tiagard 12.5% (tiamulin hydrogren fumarate) do you know the dosage for this situation for chicks? I've been trying to find it online with no luck.
Soonest I can get it delivered is 1 week on the website you recommend. I can't find the powder anywhere else and not sure if I can get a vet to send over a script for me. Should they be ok for a week?
I do but these have never been in contact with my flock outside at all. I got them from meyer hatchery. Should I call my normal dogs vet and see if they'd put it through for me? I saw the injectable. Can you give those to small 4 week old chicks? I feel like they're so fragile.
I will call that website in the am and see if they can do any faster shipping and continue to look around. Is there any at a tractor supply that would work do you know of? Will they infect my whole flock once integrated?
Ugh... upon further inspection a few actually have puffy watery eyes and now they are all sneezing tonight! It says it wouldn't be delivered until the 20th would they be ok for that amount of time or should I find something sooner/pay to expedite it?
Thank you for the help hopefully it passes I will see if I can find any that will get here sooner but if not I may need to just wait and keep a close eye on them
The ones in question are from meyer hatchery. The others in the quarantine brooder are from a friend who hatched them out. It's the same bird sneezing. They all will sneeze randomly here or there but this specific one is sneezing and stuffy/raspy sounding periodically throughout the day. I'll...
I have 4 week old chicks in my brooder inside the house with the heat lamp on. I began turning it off during the day to hopefully slowly adjust to cooler temps here soon when they outside eventually. The last 2 days there has been a lot of sneezing and one bird in particular sounds a bit stuffy...
