And that’s great, and I’m in it for companionship, the joy of raising birds, and pretty eggs. Ameraucanas check all those boxes, so for me the price is worth it.

But Ameraucanas are incredible birds, they are sweet, gentle, adorable, beautiful, and add an amazing color to the egg basket.

Price isn’t often a very good indicator, but generally pure Ameraucanas cost more, but you can get them for cheaper. Many say if you paid less than $20 per chick they aren’t Ameraucanas, but that isn’t true. I only pain $10 a piece for mine.
Yours are indeed EEs though, they are common EE colors.
