I know...like I can just imagine all the regulars thinking how incompetent and out of shape I am. But I don't like gym equipment anyway, preferring to run on pavement (you're actually going somewhere) and other objects around my home will do for weights.
I still do this, but I have found it helps to keep a journal. I use the DayOne app and it allows you to set up a code; that’s helpful because I can write my thoughts without being worried someone is going to see them. I also keep a nightly diary with a notebook. Between the two my mental health...
For me, I start off fine but then run into roadblocks and give up (or get distracted). It seems to work better if I set very small goals, like run half a mile every day for a week - not a month.
How do you do a complete fast every day? Do you not eat anything?
Me too. I have failed everyone of my New Year's Resolutions already, did not give up anything for Lent, and haven't accomplished hardly any of my many goals. And it's already April...
