Just wanted to note that with your specific setup, if temps have been low from opening the carton, it might take an extra day or so for the chicks to hatch. 21 days is not written in stone.

But you are correct. Eggs are scarce here also. Last week I gave out 22 dozen from my hens to family and friends. I think nature is more forgiving than people believe. I have seen some strange things in my life. Just stay safe.
