Reason I ask I I'm in similar situation...AND I have 9 eggs in lockdown hoping to hatch any day now! I would LUV to be able to slide the hatched ones into my broody and her raise em...but it being her first time and our weather is crazy too idk.

Is your spare coop that u plan to move her to going to be inside or outside?
