Update: we made the ramp wider, added more cleats and adjusted the angle by puting a block at the bottom. I placed both hens up by the boxes. They both investigated and then laid there 😁

The nest boxes are at a convenient height for me but if they won't use them, then I'm not against moving them.
I will retrieve the eggs tomorrow. I am hoping that one night of the eggs being in the boxes will motivate them lol.
The ladder is the roost. The nesting boxes are 32 inches up. Last night was there first night in there and one of them used the second to lowest rung of the roost. Which is about 4 inches off the ground.
We just finished the majority of our coop. Both hens have laid eggs on the floor and can't seem to get up the ramp. How steep is too steep? I need some dimension ideas. My husband tried to recycle a bifold closest door but they can't get up that at all.
