OKAY — coming back here because I’m so happy—
Crackhead is getting a second chance !!:wee
My main flock leader for my Jersey Giants is getting culled tomorrow due to his flat out aggression, sooo my little bantam roo is getting a bunch of very tall ladies allll to himself.
He’s been isolated...
He grew up true to his name! LOL!!!
Even his mood is unpredictable 🤣🤣
Some days he wants me to regret being born, some days he sees me- screams- and runs away, and some days he glares at me from a distance.
Something very wrong with this young boy 🤣🤣🤣
Which is the plan!!! I still have to get my crap together and cull or take him to the Amish to be culled. There’s a crazy lady I know that takes aggressive roosters and works some chicken magic on them to make them tame… she does it for Fun.
Again she’s a little nuts but still love her- sounds...
I am a backyard chicken farmer- if I’m out in flip flops and shorts and see cute chickens, imma go pet the cute chickens in flip flops and shorts, and I guess I’ll reap what I sow. Mind your business.
I’m not scared of a tiny roo, but I am scared for the kids because that tiny scratch to me...
My mature old rooster got ahold of him and put him quickly in place, and since then he hasn’t charged me.
I’m sure given enough time though he’ll revert back to a total jerk face. He is a very extra crispy well done burnt muffin. Not even a muffin at this point, just a hockey puck.
It sucks...
Thank you, he is suuuuper gorgeous!!
The breeder I got him from says he’s a third generation satin, and he got the satins out of silkie and D’uccle! Despite his hatching defect he is doing really well on feed. He’s very protective of the ladies, I’m so happy I can go in there now without...
Hello!!
For the moment, he is still alive. Only because I don’t know anyone that can cull him.
My giant jersey roo got ahole of him because he chased me out of the run while attacking my leg! My Jersey is we not having his mama getting beat up by a punk. Since then he’s gotten a little calmer...
Thank you guys for the help!!
I’m incredibly overwhelmed at the moment thanks to my work running me down to my grave- but hopefully tonight we can figure it out! I brought him inside the house last night to see what was up.
He was super ornery last night but this morning he had his space, still...
WELP I had the friendliest, cuddliest sweetest house rooster. Then hormones hit. Now I literally want to snap his neck. Unfortunately I’m a wussy and he’s a beautiful cockerel.
I’ll let you guys decide (encouragement)
I’m not sure if it’s a thing he’ll grow out of. I had a Jersey Giant Roo...
