It varies on the rooster some it does. But the collar needs to be fitted properly. U can search nocrow collars in YouTube and listen to others reports on them. It's work with the roo enough that the neighbours don't complain.
Yeah I like the no crow rooster collar design. It seems to work but I have trained him young to accept it. They can crow I'm told but not as long or loud. I've read horror tales too about collars getting caught or found dead. what can I say but it worked for my previous rooster and this guy...
Good eye. Yes he has BUT it's very loose and not restrictive. He has had it on two months more to get him used to it being on but I wasn't going to tighten it ( to restrict crowing ) until he was crowing but as he hasn't started I have since removed it.
