    It wouldnt have been impossible to give him Infertile eggs as all my hens are w/ roosters so he would have gottne chicks one way or another. The good thing is that about a week after i gav ehim the eggs a fox got Théoden the rooster i bred them with so at least i'll get at least one of his sons

    I ended up giving him 10 eggs 8 of which hatched. I told him i would take one or two of the roosters he didnt want. I think this was the best course of action.

    i separated my three SLW hens and the rooster just now. I think what i'll do is he can stop by and pick up eggs if he wants them.

    he doesnt know a lot about chickens other than they are birds and they lay eggs. I'll figure more out later with him next time he comes over.

    i have a smaller coop that we used in integrate pullets last year and a length of electric fence so that's what i think i'll do.

    yeah, i'll say that is exactly where i am. He's kind of a grumpy person and im generally a tad scared of him. I need to refuse him though😣 We gave him 6 hens and a rooster years ago so we could make the move here and the rooster got aggressive so he shot it...without telling me first. I hate...

    My Grandfather wants silver laced wyandottes in his flock and came over today to ask if i would lend him my two SLW hens for a week or two. They would be in a separate cage thing. My question is, what should i be concerned about if anything. My hens are on a layers feed and his only get corn...
