I’ve known he was a cockerel since 4 weeks when he developed that wide “3 row” comb...and for 3 months now I’ve been emailing them getting no where they all say the same thing
Update he started growing pointed saddle feathers...I now sent these off...,why is it so difficult for them to understand he is not a she! He started red wide 3 “rows” on comb at 4 weeks. I’ve been battling with them since!
No I see yes the pics with my kids is the same cockerel I specifically bought him. :) I had some others that were supposed to be girls and ended up boys but they killed by a dog so I ordered 4 light Brahma chicks from someone else...big mistake....first few pics have the 3 remaining recent “pullets”
I got all 3 of those at the same time I ordered 4 light Brahma pullets and had to wait for hatch they sent to me. I lost one to a dog.... these 3 remain.....I’ve told them since week for the black one was a boy....they said wait till week 10. I waited sent updated pics they say pullet...so now...
I wondered because as I was looking for spring chicks I came across the dark Brahma rooster so I decided to just ask. I’m going to be giving them yet another call because they say light Brahma pullet for all 3 and I knew from 4 weeks the black was boy/ not light Brahma
Yes 2 light brahmas in the second set of pics...I’m not much concerned with color...I got a Brahma cockerel from a breeder he looked much the same but is shaping up to be a handsome boy lost most of the black. But they look like pullets? But the black one cockerel? And not light Brahma? Edited...
All 3 were sold by Meyer as light Brahma pullet day old. I’ve sent pictures they still say light Brahma pullets....I believe sheep the black to also be a dark Brahma cockerel
That is just one pictured...the boy/girl in question had to find pics of the other 2....these were a month ago so first pictured will be Bertha the biggest with tail feathers first 3 pics the last few are little the tiniest no red no tail
This breed has me so confused these “gals” are 4 mo old. One fully feathered quickly and is twice as big as the other 2 started showing red comb and wattle around 2 months the smallest is yet to get tail feathers but not red the middle sized no tail feathers yet, just getting sides of wing...
