Here is a pic of the chick I was talking about. Notice the black chick (2nd from left) with the pink tipped toe.

I had a black silkie chick hatch out with a pink toe last year and it darkened up as she got older. She was from a flock of b/b/s, maybe it had something to do with that. I wouldn't worry about it.
