I'm not sure. I've never done it before. Around 4 ish weeks I was going to actually introduce them to the bigger guys. Maybe have a make shift smaller run inside the existing one, with an entry big enough for just the chicks.

These are my babies! I made a brooder out of an old tote we had in the basement. I cut the center of the top out and attached chicken wire to it. I use a lamp right now, but I'm contemplating a pad. The other picture is of them in the coop. I've been letting them play in there on warm days...
