This is all very intense! Checked on her this morning and there was only one egg under her with lots of egg shells around her : /. In addition, something dragged away one of our barred rocks during the early morning. Feeling like a failure 😞
Thanks for your reply. I have been removing the extra eggs. The coop is elevated. For next time, when a broody hen needs to be moved, where should she go? I read several articles that said she shouldn’t be completely separated from the flock, so maybe something similar to a metal dog crate?
