    Before lockdown? If you candled the egg five days before lockdown and it was going to hatch or even viable, it would have had veins and an embryo.

    Did you see any growth whenever you candled the egg? Such as veins and an embryo?

    I don't know, but it could have been handled roughly. Many detached air cells occur when egg are handled roughly, as well as scrambled air cells.

    That is a dead egg. Rid yourself of it. It has a detached air cell. @sourland you have great knowledge on topics as these, what are your thoughts?

    The most probable cause for such tardiness is death. Have all of the other chicks hatched?
