Sliver smiled after her before turning around and heading to his den.

Tawny was returning to camp when she banged into a wall of fur that was Sliver. Sliver felt something soft brush his fur, but passed it off as the wind. Tawny, realising that he wasn't doing anything about it, hurried off with the moss soaked with water.

"you too," Sliver said and smiled back at her.

as they dragged their kill back to camp, Sliver thought to himself, That was the most fun I've had in ages, I wonder if we'll ever get to do that again.

"Probably," Sliver said and gripped the deer in his jaws.

(you mean Winter?) "Thanks! you did great too!" Sliver panted.

Tawny watched them and said, "I'm going to get some more water."

Sliver waited until the buck was in the right spot before he pounced. He latched onto the side of the buck and bit into it.

Tawny was still dripping water into Crystal's mouth.

Sliver nodded, excitement building up inside him.

Sliver nodded. "look, there's the deer."

"I like running. The feel of the wind going through my fur is the best feeling I've ever experienced." Sliver said, other than the feeling I get when you smile at me- he pushed the thought aside, "I also enjoy hunting, of course."

"that's a gorgeous name," Sliver said.

"yes, I'm Sliver. What's your name?" Sliver asked.

"I guess I will, then."

"I can. But if you want to, you can," Sliver said.

Sliver smiled and followed Winter.
