No, I wasn't offended...just saying when they come backwards like that it doesn't make a whole lot of difference if you've got an easy calving bull or not.
I hope the rest of it goes ok too....this was the first time we've had to get the vet out for a calving problem for at least 10 years.

Our bulls all throw pretty small calves, but when they're backwards like this one was it doesn't help a whole lot. If this one had come the way it was supposed to she wouldn't had any trouble with it.
Thanks all...I'm feeling much better this morning so I'm heading off to babysit here in awhile.
You are right Buster....that's when they usually do decide to have it!! And that is definately the worst way for them to present. If we can see feet we can get them out, but no feet isn't something...
At least it's nice day here today. It could have been at midnight and snowing...been there and done it that way too!
I don't feel like I'm running a fever anymore so hopefully whatever bug I've got is on the way out. Still coughing, but hopefully it won't get any worse.
We've just had the morning from h***. First off I've been running a fever since yesterday evening. I was supposed to be babysitting 2 grandaughters today, so I got up and made arrangements with my DIL to keep them. Then my hubby came in and said we had a heifer calving and he was pretty sure...
