Coccidia doesn't go away easily or quickly so remember that once you have to treat for it you should keep Corid on hand for the next birds.

So it seems the HIGH alkaline things help kill it, I need to learn what things are high alkaline. I have never even had a case of coccidiosis yet but I would like to know just in case. Biosecurity for the win!

I am going to say the answer is no, lime does not.

Thanks. If you notice they dip their feet in a liquid foot bath just prior to talking about using the dry foot bath. At this point I am not convinced lime is good for trying to rid coccidiosis. I will spend some more time researching lime though.

I prefer to just listen to these videos. There is some really good info in them both.

I give up. Video in post #1 or #5 and about what minute in the video does it mention this.

I don't remember hearing lime. I'll rewatch now.
